What’s in my bag – by beauty blogger My Beauty Bunny Los Angeles
Question of the week: Dump it, what are the beauty products in your purse right now?
Let’s take a look at all the cruelty beauty products First of all, the number of lipsticks in my bag is amazing, maybe that’s why it’s always so heavy … I have not included them all here because There is too much lipstick, but I discovered the new Melted Clover lipstick from Too Faced, a hue that I adore and often wear.
I never go out The house without a tinted lip balm Tart Quench Lip Rescue is in the shade Rose. The packaging is gorgeous and it gives me a hint of color that moisturizes AND covers all the dry, chapped skin on my lips.
I also have a couple of fun mattress toppers – the new Pixi Beauty + Chloe Morello Lip Icing in “Cake” which is a beautiful shimmer of gold, and the new Milani Stellar Lights holographic lip gloss in Luminous Peach, which is a beautiful shimmer of pink gold Peachy
And, I am obsessed with the Hemp Salvation that I recently got from Cannabliss Organic and now I can not get over it! It’s in a pot (no pun intended!), And I normally prefer a stick or a tube, but it’s worth it because my lips have never felt so soft (and I’m very picky when these are lip treatments). Hemp oil in this substance is perfect for dry lips, cuticles or rebellious eyebrows. It also has a refreshing sensation of peppermint, which, I think, is sorely lacking in many similar products. It is made with hemp, and it will not be raised to you (sorry!) But it has an earthy and medicinal scent that you might have to explain to your significant other when you kiss them. #sorrynotsorry! The balm came in this little starter kit that is definitely worth the eye. You also get travel sizes of serum conditioner and age-defying moisturizing lotion. Super little travel kit!
I also can not go anywhere without hand cream, and lately, I loved the Blood Orange Hand Butter Cream from 100% Pure. I’ve written recently on several cruelty-free hand creams for dry skin, and it’s a good cream for non-greasy purses. Big size for my bag too!
I also want to keep my skin protected from the sun at all times. Especially since I received Moy Fincher’s melasma laser treatments and Chipps Dermatology. Dr. Herrmann also gave me a very powerful lightening cream to use during my treatments with the PiQo4 laser, so my skin is more sensitive than usual. With melasma, you must REALLY be diligent about using a sunscreen too, or it will come back right away. I therefore regularly use my Emme Diane tinted mineral sunscreen and I supplement it with the new Derma E Sun Protection Mineral SPF 30 powder. It comes with an integrated brush and it’s easy to slip it every two hours (or to be honest – when I think about it!).
And last but not least, I have my Yuni cosmetics. Longtime readers know that I am a big fan of Chillax Muscle Recovery Gel, the “Cruelty free Icy Hot”. It has a roller ball, so I do not need to get my hands dirty. In fact, I do not keep this one in my bag except when I travel. It’s perfect for sore muscles when you’re on the go or working hard (any back pain?) At your desk, and it’s also great for migraines. I keep a Yuni Beauty shower sheet in my purse and my workout bag. It’s a rag for the body that’s great if you sweat unexpectedly during the day (does it happen to me only?). Or, if you are taking a yoga class after work and you need to wash some of that “glow” before drinks and dinner. You can get a full-size chillax, 3-sheet shower, rinse-free body wash and My Om World Aromatic Body Mist (great for meditation or to spray your yoga mat), plus the travel bag pictured above in the Yuni Beauty Sweat, Refresh, Go gift box. It’s $ 32 for a value of $ 50 – not bad!
